While everyone else is talking about artificial intelligence, we remain committed to cultivating intelligent artifice.
What do we mean by that?
It is about finding the precise answer to a given problem – or sometimes, asking the right counter-question. This lies at the core of our work. It spans a broad spectrum of skills, experiences, and disciplines: design, management, science, marketing, communication and an international culture – fields in which we are fluent, and which form the foundation of our expertise. We shine brightest at the convergence of these capabilities. Our ultimate pursuit is to create the right solution: simple, self-evident, and compelling in every respect.
How do we get there?
Linear thinking leads to predictable results. Claude, Grok, and their peers will always do it faster and better. Our quest is different: to go beyond the silos of thought, to pinpoint the singular idea that counts – the one that changes everything. Against the dominance of linearity, we embrace the unexpected, the exponential, the hyperbolic. Creativity is non-linear – or it is not.
Yet, the scale of our projects, our hunger for excellence, and our boundless curiosity go far beyond the few pairs of hands we possess. To explore both in depth and in breadth requires time and energy – often in short supply. That’s where artificial intelligence comes in.
Do we love it?
Not particularly. Yet we embrace it – across the board. In the vast expanse of our field, it enables us to dig deeper, see further, and synthesize more effectively. It helps us refine what we have always done best: advise, create, deliver. AI tools lend us the hands we were missing. Will they surpass us, replace us? Not that fast – and not in this world. Our work is born of will; our aim is to create meaning; our method is cross-disciplinary. By the time AI reaches that point, this world will no longer be ours.
Until then, we use the new tools we are given – wisely.
