Frénéhard, a French manufacturer of metal accessories for roofers and construction works, is part of the Frénéhard & Michaux group. The company decided to enhance end customer engagement by moving its entire product catalogue with several thousand references to the internet. bb&b, which had recently developed the branding scheme for the group Frénéhard & Michaux, was mandated with the writing of the requirement specs and the development of the website.
The website design is based on the corporate identity scheme developed by bb&b for the group. Agile methodology was applied during the entire devel-opment process in order to flexi-bly and efficiently accompany the client. A sober and intuitive interface facilitates user naviga-tion on the new website. E-commerce functionalities such as caddies and favorites enable craftsmen to save time, includ-ing management of supply list-ings for different construction sites.
bb&b managed the requirement specs, developed the UX design, the UI design up to the imple-mentation of the entire project. Programmable, dynamic filters facilitate navigation within the product catalogue. Product data is stored in a database that is automatically synchronized with the company’s enterprise re-sources planning (ERP) system. The website was built on the latest version of Laravel Framework to ensure high per-formance, utmost development flexibility and sleek design. The backoffice was conceived using Laravel Nova.
Frénéhard’s new website reflects the modern image of an ambitious company. The entire website is autonomously administered by Frénéhard’s inhouse communication team.
