We mechanically click the emotional baits presented by the algorithms behind “social networks”. We patiently follow the communication scheme dictated by the vocal server, adapting our voice. In many aspects, we have already become slaves to the machine. But how will this unfold, once artificial intelligence has taken over most or even all aspects of our lives? Of course, we can still quit, turn off the machine, take a map instead, talk to real people. At least for now.
Maybe we should try doing so from time to time. Take out the old map. Just to be sure we can still see the difference…
